In its commitment in addressing Maternal and Reproductive Health issues in South Sudan, the Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of South Sudan-AGOSS held a fruitful meeting with both UNFPA and AMREF South Sudan. In the meeting, all parties agreed in establishing a partnership and work together for the purpose of maternal health in South Sudan. As AGOSS plan to work as a sub-implementing partner with AMREF, the president of the association, Dr. Zechariah Malel reassured the Sexual and Reproductive Health partners and stakeholders about the association capacity in addressing the technical gaps in maternal health including guidelines and policies development. Both sides reached into consensus of continues brainstorming and further collaboration within the coming weeks.
